Bring the family out and celebrate America's birthday
at the 2024 CarmelFest Freedom Run & Walk! This event is happening on Thursday, July 4 at Carmel High School!

Participants can choose between a NEW 5 mile run or a 1.5 mile walk.

Participant Shirts

Pre-register by Sunday, June 23 to guarantee your patriotic, soft-style T-shirt! Sizes/availability may be limited after June 23, but we'll do our best to get everyone a shirt- even on race day.

Shirts will be ordered in UNISEX sizing. Choose accordingly when registering.

Age-Group & Overall Awards

Stick around after you finish for the awards ceremony! We'll recognize our Top 3 male and female finishers, as well as our age-group winners in the 5 mile race!

Overall Awards
- Top 3 Male/Female finishers in the 5 mile race

Age-Group Awards (5 Miles only)
- Top 3 in each age-group
- Age-groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above

Water Stations

There will be 2 water stations on the course.

Additional food and refreshments will be available at the finish.

Free Kids Run

The kid's run is FREE and requires no registration. Announcements will be made around on race morning for all kids wanting to participate to report to a location in the immediate area. The kids run is open to children ages 10 and under and consists of a short distance course of about 100 yards. All kids will receive a popsicle and post-race snacks!

Race Day Parking

Parking will be available at Carmel High School and in surrounding neighborhoods.

Strollers are welcome at this event. Please line up toward the back as you begin.
